Molly's Den Bournemouth - 16.05.2014

This week, after handing in an assignment (2 down, 2 to go!) I took a trip to Molly’s Den in Bournemouth to do some vintage décor/clothing hunting. I also got a chance to give my new Nikon D3200 camera its first outing and to test the water with settings and so on. Makes a nice change from my usual iPhone photos!

The warehouse itself is massive – you could get lost in it! But that meant I was literally spoilt for choice at where to look first.

I have to say I was drawn first to these beautiful dainty trinkets – so cute!

Working in an arts and craft store meant I fell a little bit in love with all these rolls of fabric too and loved sifting through genuine vintage dress patterns, giving me a little bit of inspiration for a sewing venture I’d love to take up this Summer once my second year finishes (where has time gone?!)

I didn’t get time to stop by their vintage café upstairs but the setting and menu looked divine – so looks like I have another reason to come back – not that I’ll need much persuading!
